https://www.himalayasfoundation.org/ ISKCON Siliguri, also known as the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, is a branch of the worldwide Hare Krishna movement. It is located in Siliguri, a city in the Indian state of West Bengal. The temple is dedicated to worshipping Sri Sri Radha Madhavsundara, deities representing the divine couple Radha and Krishna.

The Hare Krishna movement, founded by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1966, is a spiritual organization that follows the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and emphasizes the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra as a means of achieving spiritual enlightenment and a closer connection with the divine.

ISKCON temples worldwide serve as centers for worship, education, and community activities. They often conduct programs such as kirtan (devotional singing), lectures on spiritual philosophy, and vegetarian prasadam distribution (sanctified food offered to the deities).
