  • Paragliding: It is one of the most famous adventures that can be tried while at Darjeeling. It gives you an amazing opportunity to witness the striking beauty of the town from above. It is a thrilling experience. The best time to do this adventure activity is during the months of April to June and October when the weather is clear and the view can be properly seen.

  • This activity is avoided during peak winters due to weather conditions. Try out this thrilling adventure and capture the aerial view of the places. There are two major spots where paragliding is done in darjeeling. One is from St Paul's to Lebong Route and the other is Tukvur to jaunmey.

  • Water Rafting: Teesta and Rangeet are the two rivers in and around Darjeeling that provide you amazing river rafting experience amongst the valleys of Darjeeling. The two rivers that flow down the Himalayan mountains and create the magical white water which has different rapids and stretches.   • 3. Rock Climbing: If you want to level up your adventurous experience in Darjeeling try rock climbing. It is a challenging and adventurous activity. Tenzing rock is the most popular rock climbing site. Named after the first Everest climber, Tenzing Norgay, the spot was first practiced by him. You will get climbing lessons at all the skill levels including novices to experts.

  • Ropeway: If you are an adventure junkie and you land up in Darjeeling on your next trip, a ropeway is a must for you.

The Darjeeling ropeway is a 5 km long ropeway connected from North Point to Singla The ropeway passes over dense forests, mountain ridges, water falls, flowing rivers, green valleys and tea gardens and offers mesmerising views of the beauty of Darjeeling.

It is also called Rangeet ropeway as it gives the spectacular view of the Rangeet River and its surrounding valleys.

The little Rangeet overflows with trout and the valleys have amazing wildlife, flowers and butterflies.

It is an ideal spot to watch the panoramic view of Darjeeling with a thrilling experience.
